St. John's First Assembly will be presenting a powerful drama entitled “Where Will You Spend Eternity” on Sunday, May 4th at 7:00 pm, and Friday, May 9th at 7:00 pm. St. John's First Assembly, located at 759 Empire Avenue. This drama is a revelation of two eternities based on the Word of God which gives a glimpse of both Heaven and Hell; enacted by more than 30 youth and young at heart while incorporating drama, dance and music. Global Day of Prayer Pentecost Sunday: Last year 204 nations were involved. This year we hope every nation on the globe will be part of the Global Day of Prayer. Our St. John's and area service will be held at the Basilica on Sunday, May 11 at 7:00pm. Archbishop Martin Currie will be the preacher, there will be the choirs of St. Thomas', The Worship Centre, and the Basilica, as well as a praise band from Victory Christian Centre, pastors from 7 denominations, St. Thomas’ Liturgical Dancers and worshippers from all parts of our area. Plan to come and join us on the evening of the day the Holy Spirit filled the Church for the first time!
