If you are an aspiring Christian music artist, and have not yet produced a CD, VOAR Christian Family Radio can help. VOAR invites you to enter our exciting “Joyful Sounds” contest by submitting a video of you singing your favorite Christian song. You will need to e-mail your video to contest@voar.org on, or before February 6th, 2012. The VOAR staff will pick the top 10 of entries received, after which they will be posted on our Web site for our listeners to vote on. The entries will be narrowed down to the top 5, and then re-posted for our listeners, once again to cast their vote. A panel of judges, including Derrick Drover, Dan Bursey and Karen Ritchie, along with listener votes, will choose our top 3. Our panel of judges will then choose the “Joyful Sounds” Winner.
The winner will receive a recording session worth between $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 with Dean Stairs at his “Little Known Artist’s Studio” in Lewisporte. You must be a resident of the Island of Newfoundland to enter. Please check the rules and regulations for this contest below. You’ll hear a lot more on this and other exciting contests during “I Love Christian Radio Week" February 13th to 17th.

RULES:
1. Entrants must be a resident of the Island of Newfoundland.
2. This prize does not cover the cost of any transportation to, or from, the winners location to Lewisporte, it will be at the contest winner’s own expense.
3. VOAR does not promise that the produced CD will receive air play.
4. The entries must be received on, or before February 6th, 2012 to become eligible for the contest.
5. All entries will become the property of VOAR.
6. Please keep your songs to 2:30 to 3:30 minutes in length.
7. Entrant has not yet produced a CD.
