Sherry L. Griffin - Station Manager

The lovely and talented lady of VOAR Christian radio, Station Manager, Sherry Griffin, has been involved in Christian radio for over 20 years. Sherry first got involved with VOAR as a teenager back in the 1980's. Her only complaint with working in radio is that her friends can't hear her too well when she walks under a bridge!

Sherry is very proud of her Newfoundland heritage, and the fact that VOAR has such an amazing history in our province. She is thrilled at being a part of such a unique ministry, and getting the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people through VOAR. Her vision for VOAR as the ministry continues to grow, is to follow the Lord's leading, and share God's message of hope through Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.

Tina Taylor - Communications Director

Tina Taylor has been working with VOAR for the Last 8 years.  Tina serves as VOAR's Communication Director, which makes her responsible for fund raising, promotions and public relations. Tina is also the person who receipts your donations.  Above you see Tina with her family, husband Paul, and children, Andrew and Nathan.   Tina is also the host of VOAR's request show,  you can call and request your favorite song  at 745-8627 or 1-888-740-8627  weekdays from 12 until 2 pm. 

Mark Worden - On-air Production

Mark Worden is VOAR's Production Director (he still likes the sound of that title) and is a "transplanted" Newfoundlander. He comes originally from Saint John, New Brunswick and moved here in June of 1992 after meeting his wife, Sharon Oakley in Saint John. He arrived in Newfoundland for the first time on June 19, 1992...a year later on June 19, 1993 they became engaged, and another year later on June 19, 1994 they were married. Now they are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters, Amy, Emily and Katie.

Mark is very pleased to be serving the Lord in this position at VOAR. It is his sincere wish that VOAR's listeners will benefit on a daily basis through the ministry of music and programming that is provided.

Advice that Mark would like to give to VOAR's listening audience? "Don't worry - be happy...and let God be your Guide. No matter what happens, He is still in control and will always be with you." He continues, "...and keep listening to VOAR!"

Kevin Kroeker - Music Director

Kevin has been with VOAR for 4 years. He is our beloved music director and resident expert on all things related to sweets & sugar. He is also a "transplanted" Newfoundlander. Kevin originally comes from the far, far away lands to the west. He is somewhat of an oddity, but we love him... Kevin's responsible for the new music that comes into the station. Janet Poirier - Assistant Music Director

 Janet joined our staff in the fall of 2011. She is helping to get our new media library up and running.
